Beautifull wooded surrounding makes Slezská Harta dam one of the most wonderfull dams in the Czech republic. You have to sail for about 2 kms from for example Nová Pláň village when you finally ride to Karlovec lake (Karlovec is a lost village on the right bank). It has got about 2,5 kms in its length and 700 m in its width.
From the Karlovec lake you can get to village Dlouhá Stráň. It is about 3 kms to the north. South of the Karlovec lake the lake tapers and continues in 1km long Razová bay, that was created by flooding Razovský stream. Yachting near the village Roudno (about 200 meters) is very dangerous cause of very often and treacherous changing winds. But this is the way how to get to down lake, situated above the dam, which is the biggest water area of Sleszká Harta (3,5 km long and 1 km wide). You can anchor in Razová village, Leskovec nad Moravicí village or Roudno village. Bottom of the dam is full of stumps, that is risky when yachting in bays in the case of low water level.
